Foodies, heads up.

There's a cool wild rice recipe contest in the works for food pros.  The odds of winning cash, wild rice and recognition are huge. $5,000 is up for grabs.

If you know anyone who makes a living cooking, writing or photographing food please let them know about this recipe/photo contest featuring wild rice and wild rice blends.  Contestants must reside in California and Nevada.

Check out the entry form and rules at www.cawildrice.com. The contest ends February 28.  Several dozen wild rice growers in California are sponsoring the contest.
