Columbus Culinary Institute at the Bradford School currently instructs more than 300 culinary students in a new facility that includes;
- 5 large instructional kitchens
- Computer lab
- Library
- 2 state of the art lecture rooms
- 5 classrooms
The Bradford School mission is to provide career education and training that can be completed in as short a time as practical, yet be thorough enough to ensure a good entry-level job in a selected career field and a solid base for future progress by providing foundations in problem solving, communication, and critical thinking.
The Columbus Culinary Institute at the Bradford School awards an associate of applied science in culinary arts. This program provides the high school graduate with the necessary food preparation, cookery, and presentation skills along with basic operational, cost, and business skills to become a skilled member of the foodservice industry. Application of classroom instruction is achieved through a culinary externship in which each student participates.
