Duties will include the following: Provide leadership and vision in implementing and developing curriculum that has a competitive advantage over similar programs at other institutions. Recruit, develop, and supervise a team of faculty and staff according to school policy. Manage the Culinary Arts programs to provide a quality education that meets and/or exceeds industry expectations. Manage the program operations to include the food storeroom and restaurant with fiscal responsibility and adherence to approved budget. Advocate for the College and Culinary Arts in industry and community relation activities.
Position Requirements: Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management or a related discipline required. Certified Culinary Educator and/or Certified Executive Chef of the American Culinary Federation highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in post-secondary Culinary education. At least 5 years of increasingly relevant industry experience with a minimum of 3 years experience in a management capacity. Proven experience in fiscal and human resource management. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Proven effectiveness as a leader and member of a team.
