Job Summary: The HCAT Instructional Specialist is responsible for the delivery of instruction, which includes credit and noncredit programs, open enrollment and contract, with an emphasis in the baking/pastry area, as well as providing program support for the Institute as may be needed. These tasks will include curriculum development, recruitment activities, administrative tasks, and special projects as assigned.

Requirements: Associates degree in hospitality/culinary arts required; Industry certification or ability to be industry certified is required. Minimum of five years related baking/pastry industry experience required. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and to travel locally to accommodate the needs of the program. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision with attention to details and deadlines. Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with stakeholders.
